A moment between NDC presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and former President Olusegun Obasanjo at an event in Lagos held in honour of His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe (CFR), Obi of Onitsha, celebrating his remarkable legacy and contributions to society.
He says Ethiopian Airlines seized his $80,000, he won in court 4 years ago, yet, he’s still waiting. His message: stop branding Igbos as criminals. 👀
This needs to go viral.
I have just received the sad news of the death of one of our Obidient family members from Edo State, Comrade Benedict Inaede.
On behalf of my family and the Obidient Movement family, I sincerely condole with his immediate family and the entire Obidient family. His death is a painful and irreplaceable loss to us all.
May Almighty God, who has called him home, grant him eternal rest and grant his family and all of us the fortitude to bear this profound loss.
May we continue to remember his family in prayers for God Almighty's continued blessings. -PO
Two years ago, we met Alexx Ekubo and asked him to join the Igbo Men JPEGs trend.
His response stayed with us: "Admin, nwanne m, I would have loved to, but I'm scared of social media, especially Twitter. You remember what they did to me over my marriage saga." We didn't ask again.
Kachifo Alexx Ekubo 🙏🖤
Peter Obi became governor 2006.
His second 4 years tenure ended in 2014.
He provided a quarters for judges in 2013 a year to the end of his tenure, when he most definitely did not need them for anything and it could not be said that it was for the purpose of compromising judges.
Tinubu increased judges' salaries within 6 months in office and is now handing over keys to mansions to them 3 years into his first tenure when he is going to stand for reelection in a year's time.
I understand you have to do the job that pays you, even when you don't believe in the things you have to do to earn a living.
This one concerns you. If insecurity becomes too bad, Nigerians will take flight, but you see that Lagos, all of us go enjoy am till death do us part.
Once NYSC is over, more graduates from all over Nigeria will lap that Lagos.
Nah our own. We all own it. Every part of Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians.
The tears of tribalists dey give me joy.
Make it rain 😀
I wish the Gen Z and millennial generations would understand what is happening in this country.
Someone stole 210 trillion naira from the NNPC. That is three times the combined annual budgets of Ghana, Rwanda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Uganda. Someone stole it, and Akpabio and co are shielding him from questioning. The country acts as if he did nothing wrong, no protests, no action, just silence.
Next, Tinubu will award him an OON for being a patriotic leader.
Nigeria is crazy jungle!
Every year:
- Organisers announce event.
- Someone popular tweets about it.
- Ronus get upset, then spends 3 days arguing about the name of the event and why it shouldn’t hold, giving it maximum exposure in the process.
- New people discover the event thanks to the trend including folks from other tribes, peace loving Yorubas inclusive, and plan to attend.
- Tickets sales go up.
- The organisers are happy. The attendees are happy. Everyone is happy.
- Ronus remain upset before, during and after the event.
- Repeat again next year 😭
