"Violence Interruption in DC is nothing more than a grift for the government to funnel tax dollars directly to illegal gangs and violent criminals. There is zero evidence that this 'program' has any level of efficacy, and there is not a month that goes by without a 'violence interrupter' being arrested for some heinous act. We even have sitting councilmembers who have been indicted for bribery scandals involving these criminally corrupt organizations. Not one tax dollar should be spent on this scam."
