When we are tempted in this present life to look at what we don't have, we could think instead about how much worse we deserve.
As bad as things are, it is thanks to the mercy of God that they are not a thousand times worse
The Bible says in the last days, man will change the truth of God into a lie. In other words, what God says is wrong, man says it's right. That is exactly what we are seeing in these days we are living in.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath,…Romans 12:17-21
Breaking news 🚨
Protect your self today satan is lurking to attack you!
🛡Ephesians 6:13🏹
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Could really use prayers right now. Everything is breaking and can’t keep up. Church has dissolved pretty much due to my husband preaching no. Ear tickling sermons. Feel we are being attacked for standing up for truth. Anyone else going through this right now?
@tiplove84 Maybe the reason why people left is because it was a small congregation at our home. The people that left where all family members of the same three families.
@tiplove84 3) John the Baptist incurred the ire of Herodias when he spoke out against her adultery with Herod (Mark 6:18–19). She eventually silenced John, but she could not silence the truth (Isaiah 40:8).
@tiplove84 2) Christians are often accused of “judging” or intolerance when they speak out against sin. But opposing sin is not wrong. Holding aloft the standard of righteousness naturally defines unrighteousness and draws the slings and arrows of those who choose sin over godliness.
If you don’t discipline the little acts of disobedience, they will grow into big acts of disobedience.
That’s why “little things” are sometimes a “hill to die on.”
