@LNER I was unable to collect my ticket as I was on the train with it about to depart when noticed. The gates at Bedford had accepted my existing ticket barcode. Those at London Bridge likewise accepted the Trainline eticket had to buy on the train.
@LNER can you tell me why when I have bought a ticket on your app minutes before a service departs from Bedford it comes up as a collect at machine? Why on earth not an e-ticket like every other train ticket iv bought in 5 years. Was in hurry and didn’t realise this.
@LNER From Bedford to London Bridge. I have a LNER eticket as far as St Pancras from Donny but I wanted to go onto LB so bought a separate Advance 1st.
@anon_opin I don’t understand the need to reduce the limit. It’s not those who have had a single pint causing the problem but those who drink to excess and if they chance it at the current limit they are not going to change their spots.
@anon_opin Not true, The axle loads are the issue and these are still insignificant compared to HGVs. It’s the increase from 38 tonnes to 44 tonnes that’s the issue.
The IRA got immunity. And now, under Starmer, they're set for big cash payouts.
Our veterans risked their lives stopping IRA terrorist attacks.
But Starmer’s opened the door to mass prosecutions of them.
We must stop this sick betrayal.
@railnigel It is so strange that a Labour government’s policies are driving small businesses into the hands of large corporations. The farm tax will do the same. No more small farms as they become a millstone but agro business will snap them up so that only large farms will survive.
