It is interesting that Sen Akpabio who acted worse under Saraki , and Opeyemi Bamidele, whose expulsion from UNIBEN was rescinded on account of absence of fairing, in litigation championed by FFalana SAN, can preside over the charade ongoing in the Senate
Honestly my heart bleeds, too many people need help, help me reach out to someone in need here! It’s overwhelming, really wish I could meet every need but I can’t.
Aliko Dangote Vs the NMPDRA/NNPC have given me a perspective, & I’m not alone.
There are not a lot of Nigerian big bosses that I respect, for many obvious reasons.
Nigeria is the jungle, & everything gets eaten.
It is not a place for an entrepreneur to become an Activist. That could come with dreadful consequences, & no one wants that.
No Naira or Dollar billionaire would want to become a Crusader in a country like that.
In the light of these, knowing what I know now? I will like to specially thank & appreciate @AtedoPeterside for his forthrightness.
I don’t think we’ve done that before, have we?
As the chairman of a big bank, he put his reputation & business on the line to support the best candidate in the race.
That could have gone sideways in a lot of ways, but he damned the consequences.
For me, I see a lot of boldness, the type that is reckless as well (pun intended).
There is a sense of heroism & escape in that. Every hero conquered their fear at some point. When you conquer your fear as an adult? you’re free!
Unlike U.S billionaires, Nigerian billionaires are not known for any type of activism.
Aliko Dangote confessed that one of his billionaire friends in Nigeria advised him not to invest in Nigeria again. Who could that be? 🤔
When you see a “Nigerian Big Boss” put everything on the line to support a candidate, more so (an underdog who happened to be the best candidate); give them a pat on the back, they did the unthinkable!
It’s deeds, not words!
Good name is better than Gold!
Everyone is looking for heroes, someone to believe in. I’m a patron for hopeless causes, so is Atedo. Like him, I’m always looking for good causes to support.
Most elders in Nigeria are not known to be forthright. Forthrightness died a long time ago.
So I’m proud to attach my name to his, I’m proud to say we supported the same candidate.
This is me saying THANK YOU to Chairman Atedo Peterside CON, on behalf of the Obidient Family Worldwide.
You’ve entered our Book of Heroes. 👏👏
