Meet Mary Kom. In 2013, she was a mother of two sons and a married woman. Yet, she allegedly had an affair with a junior boxer. Her husband, Onler Kom, found out but compromised just to save her National Image. He swallowed his pain to protect her career.

One mistake can be forgiven, but this was a habit. By 2017, she allegedly cheated again with a staff member from her own Boxing Academy. Onler claims he has WhatsApp proofs, yet he remained silent because she and her partner threatened him daily.

She finally divorced Onler in 2023, claiming financial distress. While Mary Kom enjoys her celebrity status, the man who sacrificed 18 years for her success is living in a rented house in Delhi.

Where is the Feminist Brigade now? If a male celebrity/athelete had cheated on his wife twice and left her in a rented house, his career would be finished. Social media would have declared him a Toxic Villain and cancelled him by now.

But because she is a Woman and a National Icon, her cheating is ignored. Apparently, Her Choice now includes destroying a loyal husband's life and threatening him.

This is the scary reality for men. Onler sacrificed his career, managed the home, and stayed loyal. In return, he got Betrayal, Threats, and Divorce.

Is this what you call Female Empowerment? Or is "Her Choice" just a cover for being selfish? She might be a World Champion in the ring but she failed as a human being.
