@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC Unlike this, that wasn't a unanimous decision “ Two panelists felt that the on-field decision was incorrect and a penalty should have been awarded as ‘Mac Allister gets there first.” also fans aren't paid professionals, it's not a good comparison
Standard mainstream 'journailist' stuff. Toe the party line and then when it changes claim you were somehow right all along. Isn't that right @DaleJohnsonBBC?
@DaleJohnsonBBC completely backtracking on the VVD goal whilst claiming he was right all along is hilarious. I would quote him but he blocked me for daring to (non abusively) call out his bullshit 🤣 #LFC@BBCSport
@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC I was waiting for the word 'subjective' to come into play. Always the get out of jail card. What bothers people most is the consistency, or lack there of. Nothing subjective about that.
@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC Ignore the point to protect your fellow refs. Why would I expect anything different? The goal should have been given, It's that simple.
@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC I'm not ignoring anything, I'm telling you ehat Howard Webb said about how Robertsons action could have caused doubt in Donnarummas mind. I fail to see how that can be true for one but not the other. All you're doing is proving what the average football thinks about referees.
@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC But Silva wasnt to know that, his intent was to disrupt the keeper, putting doubt in his mind so it's just as reasonable to conclude he put a doubt in Sa's mind as it is to conclude Robertson put doubt in Donnarummas mind.
@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC You're splitting hairs. It only doesn't go over Silva because he pre-emptively gets out of the way. The PGMOL's claim is that Robertson being there and making a ducking motion close to the keeper put a doubt in his mind. Surely the exact same applies to Silva?
@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC The whole point of this debate is that VVD's goal was ruled out because Robertson made a ducking action in an offside position. You've just agreed that it's not an offside offence to duck out of the way of where you think the ball will go.
@grassrootsrefJa@DaleJohnsonBBC So if a player commits a foul it's ok as long as its not offside? And.he ducks out of the way of where he expects the ball to go. It's blatant. Same as the Ake/Akanji goal, same as the Rashford/Fernandes goal, same as many other goals that have been allowed and defended.
@DaleJohnsonBBC So why only ever use one still when talking about it? What about the but where hes holding Jose Sa to prevent him coming for the ball? Or the bit where he ducks to get out of the way? Don't you think his presence would have put some doubt in Sa's mind? It's really not difficult
@DaleJohnsonBBC You're digging yourself a hole. You went out of your way to show how it was different to tje Bernardo Silva incident, even though anyone who watches the whole thing can see it's the same thing. If anything the Silva one is worse as he impedes the GK https://t.co/gAyUUhr2Xx
After last night's article, it's worth showing the clear difference between the Liverpool offside, and Man City's goal v Wolves which was onside through VAR.
At no point is Bernardo Silva near the flight of the ball.
Andrew Robertson ducked out of the path of the ball.
@DaleJohnsonBBC You're misrepresenting this and you know it, the KMI panel said the goal should have stood yet you're omitting that part. Also wasn't it VAR intervention that led to City's goal v Wolves being allowed, which you've said was correct?
@Futbol__Talks@AnfieldIndex Horses mouth? 🤣 why would Wenger, an ex manager with no real links to Liverpool, Bayern or Leverkusen know what was said in negotiations?? Deluded.
@gerrewyn@AnfieldRd96 Its called supporting pal, you might want to look up the definition. We won the Prem last season, this is the first rough patch we've had under Slot and you want him out? Grow up.
@PolitlcsUK Thick as pig shit. Also, it was Tory reforms that shaped the current benefit systems, wasn't an issue they were talking about when they were in power was it?
