If you want to argue that players would want all their money upfront instead of over the course of their contract, great job. This is Econ 101. Signing bonuses have 0 impact on AAV

@mikeinthevalley @ThomasDrance And your last statement makes no sense. The team is paying the exact same amount. You don’t pay a player less because of a signing bonus. If you sign a player for 10M, whether you pay it all July 1 or over the course of a year, you still pay him 10M
