Nancy Mace is done.

The woman spent years doing everything she could to prove she was MAGA enough — and it still wasn't enough.

The South Carolina congresswoman finished LAST in the state's Republican primary for governor, coming in 5th place with just 11.6% of the vote.

She wasn't even close.

It's a stunning fall for someone who once seemed to have real political instincts. Mace was first elected to Congress in 2020 as a moderate, flipping a seat Democrats had held.

Then she reversed course — completely. She rebranded herself "Trump in High Heels." She plastered her campaign with photos of the two of them together. She called herself "MAGA Mace."

She went on a crusade against trans people in women's restrooms. She attacked fellow Republicans. She made increasingly erratic accusations in the final days of her campaign, including suggesting a rival wasn't qualified to be governor because his mother was from India.

None of it worked. Trump didn't even endorse her.

She announced she's heading to "the private sector" when her House term ends.
