School culture is not created by a mission statement on a wall, but it is created and lived out daily by everyone in the school working together, supporting each other, and dedicated to being their best.
Teachers love Admin who:
1) Roll up their sleeves to help
2) Really listen
3) Present: in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, lunchroom
4) Value teachers time
5) Support/encourage them
6) Respect /value them
7) Have their back
8] Appreciate them
If we want students to respect teachers, then we need politicians, parents, and leaders to respect them first! Model respect for the person and the profession.
