17 years with #MS, 7 things I've learned:
* persevere
* but know when to rest

Would like to wholeheartedly thank the person who thought to put the angled mirror into the face cage for MRIs.
Gave me a perfect view of the lovely radiographer having (what he thought was) a secret bop to my specially-selected scanner CD. #MS
Had a completely unexpected call today from someone high up in the organisation - just calling to check I was looking after my #MS self. Think he may have seen my harassed face in too many Teams meetings.
Entirely lifted a crappy day. And mattered to me more than he knew.
Classic kitten trick: send out the smallest, cutest one to sucker someone in and then… BAM reveal that they need to adopt all 12 of ya. Works every time.
This 90s indie kid had a great time at #BlackCountryBeats now on at the brilliant @WolvArtGallery
Memorabilia, music, monkey (cheeky) and a jukebox that only plays Slade - what's not to luv?
It's #MSAwarenessWeek.
And, among far more serious issues, I'm aware of all those heels I can no longer wear - unless I want to go A over T into a rose bush.
But I love them and I miss them and I keep them safe, waiting for a little balance miracle.
My beautiful dignity killers.
Just heard on the radio 'I don't think we'll ever see the Queen in a wheelchair' she wouldn't give in. Can we all (including the media) stop this idea that using a wheelchair is giving in or so awful that we couldn't possibly see a 95 year old use one if she needed.
Stuff that's hard to do with #MS hands:
- type without fcuk ups
- laces, buttons, pens, cutlery
- negotiate tampons without a Kill Bill-style bloodbath
- apply passable eyeliner
- feel anything (other than frustration)
