Breaking News: The lone female presidential candidate in the October 12 election, Patricia Tomaino Ndam Njoya, rejects the results announced by the Constitutional Council, saying that “this proclamation of results does not reflect the will of the people.”
“I solemnly reject these results and reaffirm, on behalf of the Cameroon Democratic Union (UDC), our commitment to Free Choice, Respect for every vote, and the Sovereignty of the People.
We ask for neither favor nor privilege: we simply demand that the citizen’s vote have meaning and that Cameroon regain its democratic dignity,” said Hon. Patricia Tomaino Ndam Njoya.
She has called for a national dialogue.
