I remember when politicians, pundits and academics tried to spin you and claim the carbon tax didn't increase inflation.
Now the government's own budget update admits that removing the consumer carbon tax helped reduce inflation.
Don't forget how they tried to spin you.
The new Liberal MP Marilyn Gladu seems to have changed her mind from this:
"he's been Justin Trudeau's economic advisor for the past five years. So he's part of the disastrous mess that has been created by the Liberals in terms of the inflation, the increased cost of everything.
He lied several times during the campaign leadership race.
We don't get straight answers. He avoids getting any questions from the press."
Mr. Prime Minister—you are getting up to $9 billion in windfall revenues from high oil prices. That money does not belong to you.
Give it back.
Stop taxing gas. Save families $1200 at the pumps this year.
Remember the Liberals claiming for years that the carbon tax wasn't impacting the price of gas or anything else?
Mark Carney, under questioning from Pierre Poilievre, says his decision to lower the carbon tax rate to zero is saving you 18 cents a litre.
Strange, no?

Simon takes a $378,000 salary from taxpayers, she can pay for her own clothes.
Many Canadians are actually stressed about the price of clothing and they shouldn’t have to pay for the governor general’s wardrobe.

Great to see Conservative Leader @PierrePoilievre announce a 2:1 rule to reduce the regulatory burden in Canada. This has proven to work in other jurisdictions and is a critical element to small business growth.
And pleased to see the party use CFIB’s data on the $51 billion cost of red tape to small biz owners.
“The Canadian government spent thousands of dollars to fund stage productions where seniors in other countries share their sex stories in front of live audiences.”
But yeah, there’s definitely no wasteful spending to cut …
