@rubythepekatzu@JustineBateman Imagine a world where republicans have supermajority control of all parts of government and large bloc voting support like unions and everyone is not happy with things but the ones in charge win like this. They would lose their damn minds
@StevenWillcox2@sunnyright What are you afraid of? We were able to resolve elections quickly. Now it’s a long drawn out process nobody likes or really trusts and you want to act like this is a good thing.
@StevenWillcox2@sunnyright It’s not perfectly normal. That’s why this is odd. Explain it. Why would one out of 3 candidates (who barely anyone knew) voters mostly cast their votes late via mail. Their votes show up days later in a mayoral race in modern America?
@StevenWillcox2@sunnyright The problem is it isn’t logical. If this was D vs R in a narrow race ok. But 3rd place D doing better than 1st place D late to flip the Election Day trend and outvote both the 1st D and R is weird. We have never seen this before. This is damaging to democracy.
He just needs to accept the reason he lost is because he told his followers to NOT mail in ballots and to show up on Election Day and wait in lines in November during a pandemic.
@thejaimster@Aaron_Torres I don’t know if it is not legit, but you have to be in denial to think this isn’t weird. It would make sense if it was close after Election Day. But the late mail in vote result being far off the Election Day trend overtaking a wide gap is odd.
@Pete_Monahan_JD@damintoell I did read it. All it does is point to the what the govt said. It does no independent verification. If we are talking about a smallish # of votes that is different. I get raked on the coals on a mortgage over my signature but you can handle millions. Bullshit.
