Judas showed up to every prayer meeting too.
Just because they're present doesn't mean they're loyal.
Discernment is deeper than attendance.
Watch the fruit, not just the face.
Something I've learned a few times
the people closest to you often won't be the ones cheering loudest. And is not really because they wish you ill.
They just don't see your growth. They see your history. They built a fixed picture of you a long time ago, the version that struggled, and every time you move up, that picture stops matching. That's uncomfortable for them, so a lot of them just go quiet. They downplay it. Some of them wait for it to come apart.
Meanwhile the people who never knew the old you tend to be your loudest backers. They meet you as you are now, not as you were, so there's no old picture to defend.
I don't read the silence as rejection anymore. Watching you change reminds people who stood still that they stood still, and you can't really expect someone to celebrate the thing that points at their own stagnation.
So I've stopped waiting for the room to clap. Some people were only ever there for the beginning, and that's fine.
@KellyKatharin Your view alone makes me happy🥰. Sometimes it's the little things that keeps us grounded and extremely thankful. Sometimes starting the morning off with I am, I have, I feel helps the mental mode. Happy Mothers Day weekend Kelly! 🥰

Many people drowned simply because they didn't know this:
If you find yourself underwater inside a car, don't panic. Do the following:
1. Don't try to open the door.
2. Do not open the window, the force of the water entering the car will not allow you to get out.
3. Pull the headrest out from the seat.
4. Use the steel spikes to break the rear window and remove the glass.
The car, by design and engineering, is made to float on water, and the rear window will always be facing outwards.
This could save your life.
Thanks me later.
