What? Disabling FSD and coasting into a median? I don't think hardware can help with that. Pressing the brakes or taking control of the steering wheel to turn right? That would be a human thing, and part of the reason there's (Supervised) behind FSD. I'm no expert, but I think @Tesla_AI and @elonmusk might agree.
@Tesla_AI please update map data. It's ridiculously outdated and forcing unwanted/unnecessary exits and missing entrances, and FSD (Supervised) is ignoring turn signals/cancellations to enter/exit WPT extensions in Fort Bend County/Fulshear, TX. Result: unnecessary interventions.
@Tesla_AI@Tesla@elonmusk Juniper on FSD 14.3.4 ignores user inputs (turn signals), tries to turn left from straight-only, and refuses to get on/stay on toll road extensions. Also decides to merge to slower traffic lane for no apparent reason. FM 1093/WPT/Sam Houston Beltway.
@remvasmos@Tesla_AI@Tesla Hope you caught up to the guy and got insurance info for repairs since he didn't properly secure the bucket. That's the only thing you could do in that situation without risking severe damage to the vehicle and injury/death just to avoid a plastic bucket.
@remvasmos@Tesla_AI@Tesla I really don't see how you would've avoided this. The bucket is moving chaotically and going to the right lane would require extreme maneuvers on a wet road to avoid it while moving left would put you in the grass/mud, which is even worse for traction than likely hydroplaning...
@TSLA_inside_ European version is likely locked into "Sloth" mode, which goes at or below the speed limit. This is very likely because of regulators and local requirements.
@Tesla_AI I just made a trip from the Houston area to Long Beach, CA. Multiple times it forgot construction zone speed limits and didn't register at all the speed limit change when lights are flashing at port of entry stations. FSD needs to recognize these and remember/override.
@cybrtrkguy Just keep FSD on. You obviously don't know how to drive. FSD is much better than you, by orders of magnitude. That overreaction on your part was dangerous, unnecessary, and likely caused a massive traffic jam behind you. I can't believe you actually posted this on the internet...
@elonmusk Branch A: AGI, maybe SGI or close. Branch B: plateaued just shy of AGI with further improvement halted by the universe (radiation, cosmic rays, classic digital nightmare stuff), though practically imperceptible in practice and application.
@learning_yohei It's primarily because we use sounds and tongue positions that are unnatural and awkward for Japanese speakers. The "i" in pig and the "l" and "r" sounds are good/easy examples."Why bother with it if you can't speak confidently?" is likely the mindset.
@robertlufkinmd@elonmusk is about to roll out Full Self-Flying. Maybe he'll call it the Full Unsupervised Charter Kinetic Integrated Travel (FUCKIT) System. 👀
@GenFlynn@RepLuna I agree with UCMJ action in terms of military discipline and standards. He should have the opportunity to defend himself in the proper jurisdiction on allegations of violation thereof. The private sector betting market? He bet on mission success and delivered.
