@ALOTBSOL89@NostalgicNUFC You’ve clearly done your UEFA finance qualification on the back of a Newcastle programme. They literally do not need to sell to buy 😅
@MrFunko92 We’re two games in. We do need time yes! It’s frustrating of course but again we’re only two games in. I’ll be more concerned after the international break if we’re still sitting bottom.
@ALOTBSOL89@NostalgicNUFC Not true. The standard threshold is 85% of relevant football revenue, Current independent modelling actually has Sunderland at around 57% which would say they probably have 30m+ of room to spend. Of course they’ll probably sell within the next few years but they don’t have to yet
@Dan_Harm@kevin_busby@LukeEdwardsTele You can't just funnel owner money through a fake commercial deal and call it revenue. If Newcastle want the same advantage, expand St James' Park, host more events or build commercial revenue. That's competing off the pitch.
@kevin_busby@LukeEdwardsTele Because that’s how revenue works. The club has earned that by generating money. Letting an owner who has unlimited amount of money just go spending money wouldn’t be fair.
@talkSPORT It baffles me how stupid people can be to criticise the likes of spurs of spending. We didn’t become “rich” overnight. It’s took us a while to get in the position where we are. Yet Newcastle have very rich owners and expect to be where we are in just a few years.
@Daily_Hotspur@Gazzetta_it Are we really doing this again? Will this be the story for the next 2 days and then back to were closing in on a deal. Come on man
