How about not wasting time on neither commuting or getting dressed.
Because my favorite thing about clocking in at 8am without having to waste gas money, is that I get to do it in my underwear.
I’m sick of people dismissing remote work as “pretending to work” or “working in your pjs.” How about “not wasting valuable hours of your life commuting” or “being a part of your kids’ lives.”
It’s convenient that my degree is in Law & Public Policy.
The entire exam to become licensed is about about all the laws, the intent/reason behind it, and the policy related mechanism under Dodd Frank to ensure that anyone selling a mortgage doesn’t ruin the economy again.
Yeah the whole law school thing was the plan, but then friends of mine became mortgage brokers and I found out how much money I could make 1st yr going back to sales. And I thought about what that kind of money could do for my life.
So yeah, I start training Monday.
2 yr olds ask you the wildest questions.
Like no—I do not want to get out of bed at the crack of dawn just to watch you run up and down the hall with a deflated balloon attached to a string while you pretend it’s a kite. Tf?
Gf: Are you ok?
Me: What? Yea, no I’m just thinking.
Gf: What about? It seems intense.
Me: Oh...about how we need a constitutional amendment for how we vote.
Gf: That seems right.
As someone who had to run away from tear gas at the beginning of the summer during a PEACEFUL protest in my city of Louisville...warms my heart to see the same be done to Trumpers trying to overthrow the election.
