Wasn't terribly well received upon release (coming not long after M.A.S.H., McCabe & Mrs Miller, and Nashville, all critically acclaimed, it was considered a disappointment) but it ties with Gosford Park as my favourite Altman. Carol Burnett is outstanding. Very funny. I always pray when something turns up on the Criterion channel, that means a possible physical release in the future. Pretty sure A Wedding has only ever been on DVD. Time for a remaster and Burnett doing a commentary would ice the cake nicely.
