- thousands of people in Lebanon ๐ฑ๐ง
- hundreds of people across gulf countries ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ถ๐ฆ๐ง๐ญ
- Over 1500 Americans ๐บ๐ธ through its proxies.
- 176 people in Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752
- over 100,000 Iranians.
Itโs not Israel, itโs Iran where the Islamic fascist regime did this.
Itโs interesting that people like @TheModerateCase claims that perhaps America will be better without Israelโฆ maybe the two parties should break up because Israel is โdraggingโ the US to wars that has nothing to do with themโฆ itโs an interesting claim if you think about, considering the fact that tiny little Israel is fighting for almost 3 years straight on 6-7 fronts with zero planes / helicopters shot down while the US, wellโฆ
I want you to mark this post as a pivotal moment in the @TheModerateCase point of you about Israel and the complete misunderstanding of the situation, if this is the pro-Israel crowd growing in the US than Iโll say what Iโve been saying for years: Split from America, do it now!
But, what people like him donโt want to acknowledge is just how much America needs Israel, and without Israel not only it will be exposed to more terror attacks than ever before with much weaker technology, the global market will enjoy our development and progress, that includes some of Americaโs mortal enemies like China and Russia.
But sure, we need America that fucks us and our children security for their personal gains time and time againโฆ of course.
If we could (and we canโt because of our agreement with America) to develop our own bunker busters and plains to carry them we would develop them and they would be far better, but oh no, we canโt allow that, so we will funnel some money and sell a sovereign countryโs security and the life of our children for the price of gas.
This is the what I believe the pro-Israel crowd refuses to confront honestly.
Israel has every right to defend itself. It has every right to believe it understands its enemies better than Washington does. And historically, Israel has always wanted freedom of action because it does not want its survival dependent on the mood of an American president.
That is understandable.
But freedom of action and dependence on American power are not the same thing. If Israel wants to act independently, then act independently.
But do not ask America to provide the bunker-busters, the aircraft, the intelligence, the funding, the diplomatic cover, the UN protection, the regional deterrence, and the military backstop, then tell Americans they have no right to question the strategy.
That isnโt sovereignty. Itโs dependency with an attitude that is only focused on its own interests, and Israel and America do not always hold shared interests.
An America First foreign policy means America does not exist to underwrite every escalation another country chooses to pursue. Our weapons, our troops, our taxpayers, our credibility, and our regional interests are not blank checks.
If Israel believes it can overthrow the Iranian regime, neutralize the nuclear program, arm revolutionaries, absorb retaliation, manage Hezbollah, contain the Gulf fallout, and prevent a broader regional war without America, then prove it.
