Dry sowing some leftover Mung beans in a desperate effort to get ANY groundcover established next time it rains. Ex dryland cotton country from last year. Been dry a LONG time . . .

High input, 4 fungicides, 2 PGR, foliar nutrients- 7.43t/ha.
Control, no fungs, no PGRs, no nutrients- 7.16.
Farm standard, 2 fungs, no PGRs- 8.13.
Biological, just bio stimulants, compost tea, etc.- 7.64.
So fungicides have all been a waste of money this year, on this farm.
Itβs time to change the conversation around #drought. We are not all welfare cases who need handouts & donβt manage for natural events. Itβs VERY BLOODY tough, yet we will survive this drought. The public needs to see that we are mostly modern resilient & sophisticated businesses
