It's the 100th Birthday of John Humphreys OBE DL CstJ. Nicknamed the ‘The Great Escapist’, this now Chelsea Pensioner blindsided the German forces not once but twice during WWII. John’s determination is exemplary, and he is a true Sapper legend. Happy Birthday, John!🎉

This week saw the MRA1 Poseidon & Typhoon move to their permanent home at RAF Lossie following their temporary detachment to Kinloss Barracks. It’s been a busy time airside with the puma force, A400M & C17 to mention but a few! Thank you to Mark Walker for the fantastic images 📷

At the beginning of September a team of Fijian Sappers, lead by Cpl Uluikedekede of 65 Sqn raised money to restore Sapper Ratu’s memorial. A huge thank to all those who contributed, including Sgt Naivalu, Cpl Ravutia, Pte Matanitobua, Cpl Carson and LCpl Vosatata.@Kinloss_Bks
