@footballmood His ceiling has always been ridiculously high but if a WC-season couldn’t motivate him, I struggle to see the point of keeping him. Could be a win-win for both him, career wise, and the club, contract wise, in parting ways this summer.
@ReshadRahman More curious as to what the plan is. Front line has lost Lewandowski, Rashford and now potentially Ferran. Gordon and Adeyemi leave a lot to be desired…
@kevvwill The only signing I’m acknowledging as a ceiling raiser for them is Rodri. I think the rest don’t really change much. What’s also encouraging is that they haven’t solved their top heavy forward situation. If Vinicius is the one that leaves, that’s a massive plus for Barca imo.
@footballmood My brain fried months ago from seeing all these fake AI posts which by the way have increased tremendously in the last few months. Just a new way to farm engagement.
@CaptnGuardiola We always miss the opportunity to cash in big. Raphinha could also be not too far away from plummeting in value. With De Jong though it seemed like they tried to offload him to Man Utd if I remember correctly? Think he publicly said he declined their offer.
@CaptnGuardiola The biggest difference is that Cannavaro was Italy’s clear standout and captain while Cubarsí has more competition for that status. Doesn’t help his case either that this Barca side is infamous for its defensive style.
@LaLigaMichael Let’s see what happens after the tournament, because this, in addition to how the Iranian national team was treated, just goes to show how teams don’t play on equal terms. FIFA reaffirms its position as a political vehicle.
@walchavito RM handle it expertly, almost always retaining next to full control of both the player and his value. On the other hand we sell for bum fees and have some sort of philosophy against loaning out players in development. Eric Garcia was a refreshing exception.
