I imagine a nirvana or enlightened state where you truly lack the drive to prove yourself while still feeling satisfied in the spirit, like a true self-actualization.

It's even worst than this.

If you look at the DnD rule book for wheel chairs.
They state that if you're a druid and you transform the wheel chair transforms with you.

So if a druid transforms into a sparrow it will be a bird with tiny wheels to move around.

I wish I was joking but I am not.

This is a disability that seems to be beyond the body, and is a disability of the soul.

@Squiiddish My current campaign is designed around mixed levels. It’s balanced around a downtime system that gives characters that started at a lower level more downtime to engage with the NPCs and train unique skills.

It’s been very successful!

@Kanarushino Yeah they overtune cantrips a little bit. It scales comparably to fighter multi-attack but no other class multi-attacks that much so it just beats out most martials for consistent damage which should be their strength.
