Prohibition mantra has duped us with 50yrs of propaganda, indoctrination and misinformation.

We've made the mistake of adopting the language, continuing to use it.

Maybe we do it sometimes to appease. Maybe sometimes it just happens automatically? But doing so colludes with prohibition, and reinforces it by the way we speak.

It's time we change the narrative about drugs and replace it with facts, evidence and experience - and importantly tell it as it is, using our own language, our own frameworks, truth and concepts.

Then we can begin to help the public see the sham that is prohibition.

So let's quit starting sentences with:

'People who use dr*gs (we all use dr*gs)
'I don't condone dr*g use'
'In an ideal world we wouldn't have dr*gs'
'We don't support or encourage dr*gs'

Let's stop colluding with the dodgy ideas that:

Dr*g use is dr*g disorder or even dr*g addiction
Most harm is caused by dr*gs rather than prohibition
Problematic use/addiction is a brain disease
Addict is an identity
Addiction is lifelong and incurable
Some drugs can't be used recreationally
Alcohol, caffeine, nicotine & sugar aren't drugs
People using legal psychoactive substances aren't dr*g users
