A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY.
Here's a full recap:
1. President Trump has announced the launch of the Stargate Project, a new American company set to invest $100B this year and a total of $500 billion over the next four years in developing advanced AI infrastructure across the United States. The formation of the company was jointly unveiled by $ORCL Oracle's Larry Ellison, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, and OpenAI's Sam Altman, with initial funding provided by SoftBank, OpenAI, Oracle, and MGX. This initiative aims to create over 100,000 high-quality jobs while positioning the United States ahead of China in the global AI race. $NVDA Nvidia was up 2% after hours on this news.
2. $NFLX Netflix added 19 million paid subscribers versus an expectation of 9 million, reported a 50% year-over-year growth in net income, and is guiding for an impressive 33% quarter-over-quarter net income growth. They now have over 300 million paid memberships. The increase in subscribers likely signals a robust consumer environment, as millions are demonstrating disposable income for subscriptions. Additionally, the rise in content consumption benefits not only Netflix but also $AMZN Amazon Web Services (AWS), which powers Netflix’s operations. Shares of Netflix $NFLX jumped 10% on the news and were up 15% after hours.
3. Nancy Pelosi recently disclosed significant stock trades, including purchases of $250K–$500K each in Alphabet $GOOGL, Amazon $AMZN, and Nvidia $NVDA, $50K–$100K in TempusAI $TEM, and $500K–$1M in Vistra $VST. She sold 31,000 shares of $AAPL Apple. For Google and Amazon, Nancy bought in-the-money call options with a strike price of $150 expiring 1/16/2026. She exercised her previous $NVDA options that had a strike price of $12. She bought in-the-money call options for $TEM with a strike price of $20. $TEM was up 48% today.
4. $HOOD Robinhood touched $50 for the first time in over three years. The company was one of the first major exchanges to list the $TRUMP meme coin over the weekend, likely leading to an increase in overall crypto trading volumes. The app is now ranked number 6 in the USA iOS App Store in finance and number 54 for overall apps in the entire USA.
5. Tesla $TSLA has had its price target raised to $500 (up from $315) by Piper Sandler. They wrote: "We think investors are starting to appreciate Tesla's potential in ‘real-world’ A.I., and as a result, PMs are more willing to entertain upside scenarios. That said, the long-term narrative often takes a back seat when current-year estimates are falling, and in this regard, the outlook is highly uncertain. In our opinion, it's clear that Tesla's thesis will ultimately depend on new-age opportunities like Optimus robots and neural-net-training-as-a-service. The problem is, these nebulous revenue streams are difficult to incorporate into a DCF. Given this, we're shifting to a P/E-based valuation methodology. Our $500 price target is based on 120x FY26E EPS, which is in the top half of TSLA's historical trading range."
6. $AAPL Apple's iPhone sales in China declined by 18.2% year-over-year during the December quarter, dropping the company to third place in the market, according to Counterpoint Research. Huawei regained the top position with a 15.5% increase in sales, fueled by the success of its Mate 70 series and mid-range Nova 13 lineup. Apple’s new AI-enabled iPhones struggled to gain traction in China due to the unavailability of key features and the ongoing search for a local AI infrastructure partner. Globally, iPhone sales fell by 5% during the same period, while China's smartphone market experienced its first quarterly decline of 2024, following earlier growth in the year. $AAPL was down 3% today and is now down from a high of $260 in December 2024.
7. $BTC The SEC announced the formation of a new Crypto Task Force aimed at establishing a clear and comprehensive regulatory framework for crypto assets. The initiative seeks to move beyond the SEC's previous enforcement-heavy approach, emphasizing practical solutions for registration and reducing legal ambiguity that has hindered innovation and increased risks of fraud. After hours, President Donald Trump pardoned Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, who has been in jail since 2013.
8. According to sources cited by The Information, Palantir $PLTR is considering an investment in Shield AI, potentially making a $200 million investment at a $5 billion valuation. Shield AI is a technology company specializing in artificial intelligence and autonomous systems, primarily for defense and military applications. The company develops AI-powered software and hardware to enable unmanned systems—such as drones and other robotic platforms—to operate autonomously in complex and contested environments.
9. $META Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly looking to compete with Apple’s AirPods. Meta Platforms is working on upgrades to its smart glasses and exploring new wearable devices, including watches and camera-equipped earbuds. The company is also developing Oakley-branded smart glasses for athletes this year, according to Bloomberg.
10. $UAL United Airlines reported strong Q4 2024 results, exceeding expectations with an adjusted EPS of $3.26 (vs. $2.99 estimated) and revenue of $14.7 billion (up 7.8% YoY). Passenger revenue reached $13.1 billion, while cargo revenue grew 30% YoY. Operational highlights include carrying a record 174 million passengers across 1.3 million flights, introducing 35 new international routes, and leading on-time departures at all seven hubs. CEO Scott Kirby emphasized the transformative year and optimistic outlook for 2025, with plans for fleet upgrades. $UAL was up 6% today.
11. $SOFI touched $18 for the first time in three years and was up 8%. Citi upgraded the price target for SoFi to $18 from $12.50 last week, citing favorable conditions such as a stable macro environment, reduced regulatory pressures, opportunities for acquisitions, and consistent growth in the company's performance metrics.
12. Canada's annual inflation rate eased to 1.8% in December 2024, marking the lowest level since September and staying below the Bank of Canada's 2% midpoint target for the fifth consecutive month. While the U.S. is thinking of tariffs on Canada, President Trump said today that he’s considering a 10% tariff on China beginning as soon as February 1.
WALL STREET IS THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.
When selling options, understanding the Greeks is vital:
Delta shows directional risk; lower delta reduces risk for sellers.
Theta is your friend; it's the daily decay of option value, benefiting sellers as time passes.
Vega measures volatility risk; selling options in high IV can be profitable if volatility drops.
Gamma indicates delta's change, crucial for managing price swings.
Greeks help manage your risk.
Oh man, this is a long story. I’ve had 5 neck/back operations.
The third one, a C5-C6 fusion, actually worked in improving the pain from excruciating to livable.
However, the nerve exiting the right facet is inflamed and the orifice through which it exits needed to be increased.
Basically, my spine got reamed.
BEAST GAME EPISODE 3 IS OUT NOW!
To celebrate, I'm giving away $100,000 total to 10 random people who like and retweet this post!

@Micro2Macr0@Mendinostra I am grateful for your alerts on delevaraging while you were sick. It's not like you owe us anything lol. People need to grow up
@Micro2Macr0@jadedmurse42 Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I think I understand it better now but still seems too good to be true almost like we found a hack in the matrix by accident. Imagine I'd this actually happens. I think for me it's proof we are in a simulation lol
@Micro2Macr0@jadedmurse42 I am trying to wrap my head around this. Let's say we print and do buy Bitcoin which drives the price higher thereby injecting more cash into all holders of Bitcoin. Isnt that by definition inflationary same way as injecting the printed money into the economy ?
$BTC will not hit $200,000 this cycle.
Nor will it follow the typical four-year-long bull market that many are expecting.
You need to understand that the bull market actually started over two years ago, not when Bitcoin broke out to new all-time highs at $75k, or when the halving occurred. The bull market started on Monday, November 21, 2022. So, if you're just getting into crypto now, I hate to break it to you, but you’re late to the cycle. You’re usually the ones left holding the bags while smart money sells into strength and exits, waiting for the next bear market bottom to buy back in.
If anything, we're closer to the cycle top than the cycle bottom. That means we’re nearing the end of the bull market, not the beginning. Bitcoin just rallied 567%, from $15,479 to $103,647, and from a $297 billion market cap to $2.06 trillion. And yet some people are still saying, "You’re still early?" They're misleading you and don’t have a clue what they’re talking about.
The purpose of this post is to remind you that this isn’t the time to get overly bullish, raise your targets, and daydream about how much money you’ll make when those targets are hit. Instead, now is the time to turn neutral and start looking for Bitcoin’s next top, so you can exit just before the crash. That way, you’ll have the capital to buy during the next bear market bottom.
X is filled with spineless shillers who have no values or principles. They’ll tell you we’re heading into a super cycle, that this is just the beginning, or that we’re going past $200k. But these are the same people who said we’d hit $100k last cycle and we never did. They’re the same ones who predicted a super cycle last time, and that never happened either. And when they round tripped Bitcoin in the last cycle, their excuses were “China mining ban,” “Fed raised rates,” or “Black Swan.” Pathetic.
Some of you might think I’m engagement farming, but you don’t realize that posting bullish content gets more views than telling you the truth right now. And just to be clear, all of this is coming from someone who was bullish from $17,000 all the way to $95,000, and is now neutral, waiting for the cycle top.
If you end up round tripping Bitcoin this cycle, it’s no one’s fault but your own.
Price action is very similar to March of 2024. I can absolutely see this market correct and trade sideways for the next couple of months. Not enough evidence to make that a real claim but just something I can see happening. Deja Vu is real right now.
This is why $MSTR doubters are screaming & crying.
Investing is an egotistical endeavor.
If I outperform you, there's an implication that I'm smarter than you.
So when these "BiG bRaiN iNvEsToRs" missed the train, they struggle to accept that we're smarter/better than them.
I sold this on a Goldman downgrade a few weeks ago at like $134
Fckin Goldman , up $78 in a day
