Since last fall, we’ve been piloting #APAfricanAmericanStudies in 60 schools across the U.S. Thank you to the brilliant scholars & teachers who developed this rich & inspiring course. We're proud to celebrate the official course framework today. #CelebrateAPAfricanAmericanStudies
$40,000 for Mia! 🎉 💵
Mia earned this scholarship just by planning for college on BigFuture. Any U.S. student from the #Classof2023 can qualify for October's $40,000 scholarships: https://t.co/l9BgNuXo3D.
In 4 months of #wfh I reclaimed over 100 hours of time from commuting and put them into more sleep. I visited the NY office. I spent more time with my dogs, and continue to do work I’m proud of while honing my professional skills. #digitalmarketer
Today is my last day at RCBC.
Thank you to all the amazing people who supported and believed in me.
I’ll miss my amazing team and getting to see the impact our work has on the lives of our students, but I’m so excited to begin the next chapter of my career. ✈️
The smell of diplomas are in the air! We are prepping for our three commencement ceremonies that begin with liberal arts tomorrow followed by STEM and health sciences on Thursday! #WeAreRCBC#GraduationSeason#Classof2022
I want to assure every New Jerseyan that today’s news about the Supreme Court does not change access to abortion in our state.
Access to reproductive health care remains available to anyone who needs it in New Jersey.
It’s not everyday you get to spend the morning with a congressman! Congressman Andy Kim came to check out the RCBC Voices and Votes: Democracy in America traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian, meet our Saxbys students CEO, and speak with a US History class. All before noon!
I haven’t gotten to celebrate an event like this since before the pandemic. ❤️ Thank you @Saxbys for choosing to partner with RCBC as your first community college and grow experiential learning opportunities on campus for our students. #WeAreRCBC
The best way I can summarize this year’s commencement is the words of this graduate celebrating with his family after the ceremony, “You’re never too old to achieve your dreams!” #RCBCGrads
It’s my favorite time of year when we get to celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our students! Let 5 ceremonies over the next 3 days begin! #RCBCGrads#WeAreRCBC#Classof2021#Classof2020
This is just one of the amazing graduates I’ve gotten to work with for this year’s commencement. Her valedictorian speech is moving and you can watch it on our live stream this week. I’m confident in our future with Nicole and her peers at the helm. #WeAreRCBC
Our valedictorian, Nicole Ceballos Gonzalez, went from ESL to top of her class in 4 years. She gives back to her community by volunteering at a food pantry in Camden and hopes to teach minority & low-income students. https://t.co/z7u91MMMeg. #WeAreRCBC#BehindtheBaron#ncmprshare
I have a message for all the little girls and boys out there who dream of growing up to be superheroes: Superheroes walk among us.
They’re teachers, doctors, scientists, vaccine researchers—and you can grow up to be like them too.
Can your experiences at a community college lead to a fulfilling career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)? At RCBC, the answer is yes. And for alum and former instructor Jeff Anderson, that’s exactly what happened. #WeAreRCBC#BehindtheBaron https://t.co/t8NKfYXCtq
As the governor & legislature make decisions about the next fiscal year budget, join us in supporting the NJCCC’s effort to increase support of community colleges & the educational opportunities they provide to hard-working students. To read more visit https://t.co/0ku4Uesgez.
What's your thoughts on #highered and the impact of the #pandemic? Are more students willing to risk delaying their educations for normalcy, factors outside of the classroom like employment and money, all of the above? #highereducation
