@ngomabest196 Our mindset need to change to embrace a new way of doing business and take ownership of our own development in Zambia. Let’s not make #CDF to be like “Dead Aid.” CDF is a tool and resource to implement true reasonable development at the grassroots. Its now or never.
@briansimasiku There is freedom of speech in a democracy. But there is also code of conduct and ethics when dealing with classified information such as state secrets.
This story has been doing rounds. Our copper and what its able to do in Europe for the ultimate beneficiaries while we remain power where it’s being mined from.
@GrayM0untain “Be not weary in well doing” Get up bro and dust yourself off. You have the power to act and not be acted upon. Forgive the ward members. We cannot assume that all members in our ward boundaries are better than us. We are all weak soldiers who depend on the Master Teacher.
@BuyoyaJonah Same Zambians are still calling USA names instead of expressing gratitude. USAID was a conduit of corruption and abuse. This a new package
@daddyhope@joseph_kalimbwe Both of you are living in the past with antisemitism at its worst core. The Israel issue is not one sided story. Hamas is a terror organization. The last time we checked, they killed more Jews on October 7 before Israel launched a campaign to defend itself.
@joseph_kalimbwe In SADC; Malawi, Lesotho, and Eswatini maintain strong ties too, fostering peace through partnership, not isolation.
while we continue advocating for human rights globally. Unity in diversity—let’s build bridges! 🇿🇲🇮🇱 #ZambiaIsraelTies
@joseph_kalimbwe While I respect the passion for justice in Palestine, let’s celebrate this historic visit by President Herzog as a smart, forward-looking step for Zambia—not a betrayal of Kaunda’s non-alignment, but its evolution into pragmatic diplomacy that benefits us.
@briansimasiku I am with you. Zambians forget too quickly. Fred Mmembe is a real threat to Zambian democracy and we cannot forget his mockery of LPM and many innocent people whom he dragged down with his sleazy newspaper.
@joseph_kalimbwe Some of the anti Chiluba comments are purely out of context and ignorance about the political emnacipation brought forth by Chiluba including free speech, opening Zambia to the outside world and exposed the fallacy of KK wamuyaya syndrome.
Inside the new spending bill Democrats don’t want you to see
“I read the continuing resolution proposal that the Democrats sent out so that you didn't have to, and I'm gonna tell you what's inside of it
- $490 million, goes straight to PBS. How is that prioritizing the American people?
- They want $157 million set aside for Congress itself. They want additional security for members of Congress, residential security systems
- $10 million for upgrades in security to the State Office. I'm sorry, but average Americans are living in cities that are ridden with crime
- $174,000 each in death gratuities to 3 dead members of Congress. It's tragic, and I'm sorry for the loss of those members of Congress. But ordinary Americans don't get six-figure payouts from Congress when one of our family members dies. So why are we paying for them?
- One of the biggest things on this bill, y'all aren't even going to believe this, $437 million for the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development
Yeah, that's American tax dollars.
Taxpayer money being sent to boost Europe's economy. Not to fix our border, not to lower inflation, but actually to spend more of our money to buy 40,000 shares in a country we don't live in
Make sure that you share this so that people understand what we're really fighting against.”
It’s important to forgive, but we must never forget. Some of the worst institutional humiliation in Zambia’s recent history didn’t come from government; it came in black ink on newspaper pages edited by Fred M’membe the architect of public shame in Zambia. This man sought revenge. Innocent people were publicly disgraced in The Post just for existing in his path. He vilified judges, insulted Presidents, fabricated scandals and shredded reputations all in the name of his own distorted perception of “truth”. He has zero morals to speak on dignity today. Oh pulizzzz….spare us the lectures 👎
@usembassyzambia This is too much. No privacy in Zambia. Unfortunately Zambia is not alone. Even in developed countries they do have surveillance capabilities but they just tell you.
@Lwand01 Mostly young people would vote for Lungu due to his Caderism. Zambian politics would be irrelevant without FTJ who helped to usher in Multiparty politics everyone is enjoying today. It’s unfair to put them in one race.
@ShiMutale98 I have observed in the past how much America is labeled as greedy or that they want to control everyone. people even said China was better than America as development partner. Little did we know that America was actually helping to address real problems.
