@chomodomo @TravisLC1968 @RepCori @POTUS Yes. It is hard. Because you didn’t just choose a college, that college also had to accept you. And, in USA there is a hierarchy of colleges which impact where you get hired. Plus, I went to a state school, there are costs other than tuition to factor.

@TravisLC1968 @RepCori @POTUS Because current salaries don’t reflect actual costs of living. I’ve been teaching since I graduated undergrad and absolutely cannot pay rent, food, transportation, AND student loans. And I work in a state that pays teachers better than average.

@HummusCrow @GarrettReuscher I understand you have good intentions but this plan is very naive to how getting and keeping a job actually works. 1) a person without employment for an extended period of time will have difficulty finding even a minimum wage job 2) people need permanent housing to get paid 3)etc
