@sid_lambert@90sfootball My favourite ever sending off, for many reasons but essentially because it’s pure comedy (and nobody was seriously hurt). Escaping the first tackle, shoe coming off in the 2nd, protesting innocence, opening game of that WC and the start of Cameron being irresistible viewing!
@theoldzealand A real fan of the football would never participate. It’s a forced attempt to create fan interaction, which is never needed in the Uk. We’re either actively supporting or abusing our team or wallowing in the masochism of the banality of the game in front of us.
@bethTmufc Assumed top target that clearly wants to go to city and is also over priced. The days of us spending a whole summer begging our top target to come to us are thankfully long gone.
@scarletreport No such thing as a certain thing with a new manager, as well we know, but the jump to a top 6 club destroys many more managers than make a success of it.
@UberWestHam Complete & genuine sympathy. It’s 2 penalties to WHU! The @FA_PGMOL cowardice to simply enforce the existing rules of the game against football is ruining the game. The team that’s best at bending the rules shouldn’t be the primary quality to be the champions.
@mrmichaelbarton The team already lacks depth in respect to aerial ability and height. You can debate his legs but his heading in both boxes will be very difficult to replace.
@UtdResurgent De Gea & Bruno yes but no Herrara?!? Rooney played until 2017. Mata? I’d even argue for Pogba! Rashford had one elite season but otherwise just too inconsistent & self important - you could argue Zlatan over him!
@bethTmufc I think well guilty of over complicating football. If the post Fergie has proven anything it’s that you can choose a top manager on paper but that’s no guarantee of success. If a manager comes in, improves players/performances and gets results we’d be idiots to get rid of him.
