@Kairo_Anatomika I’ve seen raptors eat both unhatched eggs and deceased babies (also feeding deceased babies to siblings). Eagles especially are notorious for siblicide.

@prairiesmoke414 @Jess_inthewild Some species can adapt nicely to captivity under the right circumstances. In my experience turkey vultures do pretty well, falcons not so much. No idea how a caracara would do.

@prairiesmoke414 @Jess_inthewild Without knowing how nervous these birds tend to be in captivity hard to choose. Ideally C but maybe too idealist…depending on temperament A might be more humane than the stress of prolonged transport or captivity.

@DanWuori I find myself saving post after post of yours because you get it! You use plain, sensible language to describe…language!

As someone who works as an SLPA and a language tutor for early development through adolescence, I see too many guiding figures make the process too complicated. I’ve even heard an SLP worry that too much wild laughter in a 4 year old is a sign of a delay, instead of reveling in the joy with the child!

I will be looking into Early Childhood Policy Solutions even more and I hope it catches on here in the SW USA!

@brenenwynd It’s not just a waste of resources, it’s unethical. Why bring back an animal that no longer fits into the ecosystem? What kind of quality of life are these cloned animals going to have when they cannot be released into their natural environment and we have no husbandry experience
