Note to self: don't look at what you could rent in Newcastle on your London budget. You will be sad. You will question why you are even in London when you could have your own flat on the Quayside with this view 🙃

The PM in his "build, build, build" speech has just said “The newt counting delays in our system are a massive drag on the productivity and the prosperity of this country”

It is a fundamental mistake to view species and environmental protections as a drag on our economy.

It might be blowing a #StormDennis hoolie with a power cut to boot but #Islay is fabulous! Loads of wonderful #birding! A good day for the #RSPBLochGruinart hides 😀

[Frank Cackett @FCackett]

Northward hill flood looking brilliant atm, due to some fantastic management by the RSPB team, and an excess of rain, should be good for the oncoming spring. Birds this am, incl Raven, Chiff, Woodcock, and a pair of Bullfinch, pretty scarce here Many Grey Herons to be seen!

[Adam Henson @AdamHenson]

Surely in this time of anti plastic and looking after the environment, celebratory helium balloons should be a thing of the past !!!

Great discussions today between @EssexWildlife and @RSPBEssex planning the future of breeding waders in #essex. @EssexWT_Marc pointing out the way forward!

Today we are with the brilliant team at @Sheppey_Matters at an allotment fun day! Exploring the foods that bees pollinate and looking at the bumblebees using the allotments. We were very excited to find Shrill carder bee on our first walk #rarebumblebeealert @BumblebeeTrust
