@dudeimj_dev@StrobaCat@manzanadev@KarrmaDevv I used to write exploit scripts and it was a more common tactic than you'd think. But it is extremely trivial to automate grabbing the remotes each time you execute the script, it just wastes a little of the exploiter's time. Been a while but it was some debug functions to do it.
@Iam_best_dev@TorBox It isn't. I think what they're trying to say is that it's unlimited storage time, not unlimited storage. Just the wording is a bit misleading. Other than that, the feature is pretty cool. Helps keep a few rarer (so less often downloaded) linux isos permanently cached for you.
@ninehalo369@onlykiriko I don't see where people got the idea that anything was bricked from. The hardware works, it's just the software that's blocked. Uninstall it and things go back to normal (can boot into safe mode to uninstall if can't boot Windows, which is a bit silly to have to do but whatever)
@NZCabbit@AndyKavna It's what I do. I couldn't care if they're in the subs since I can understand enough to know what the honorific they're using means. People who don't care to do this also probably don't care to learn what each honorific means. It's not as big a deal as people make it out to be.
@Admiral__Raven @Pirat_Nation Problem I have it is that 1 felt like a stealth game. But 2 felt like it forgot that the stealth is what made the 1st so good and were instead making it for the people who liked to just run through and stab stuff. Can even see it in the map design that stealth is an afterthought.
@Majsterinio1337@frizkedblizzr Studios that develop games for consoles usually develop a PC build alongside it as it makes for much easier testing. You develop it on a PC, might as well test it on that same PC instead of having to push each new build to a console. Even Sony does it for PS5 games.
@AnotherOtherMan@ReviewsPossum@GreenTextRepost But if you're realistic with what you run on it, it's still a great GPU. 1080p with medium settings in quite a few modern games is great for a card as old as it is. Also not too expensive second hand.
@Nicholasvanj@godotengine Not exactly what happened. It started out minor with people simply asking them not to bring politics into a space that it is not required in. Game developers do not care what is in people's pants or what they do with them, they want a functional engine to do their jobs.
@olimak97@reddit_lies Part of the problem is that's exactly why that sub exists. For people who are new to PC building and don't know what they're asking for so post questions which to an experienced builder will just look stupid. People have to start somewhere and don't become an expert overnight.
@BrandonJLa Smooth. The funny thing about snap for me is it's meant to give you less motion sickness, but I get way more with it. Same with other motion sickness reducing effects (such as vignetting), they increase it for me.
@fluffypony@merill Backwards compatibility is one of the biggest selling points to Windows for me and many others. If they ever broke that, they would end up losing many users. That's why they're scared to do it.
@_Darthsoldier_ Many small businesses around me ask to pay with cash as the fees that payment processes add can literally bankrupt them if all their business was through them. Cash is king for a reason.
@CaramelKaiteki@aragon1500@SuperSquidoodle You want a phone that can do basic tasks... and buy the more expensive one with a lot of useless features that you yourself say you will not use. What logic is that. People having bad experiences with Android phones usually buy the cheapest thing possible and then complain.
@manfightdragon @FitBySchmidt @dark1x So if I ask for food and then complain that the salad I'm given is not pizza, that's the fault of the chef? You're complaining about something entirely unrelated to the example you gave. Digital Foundry know what they're talking about in graphics, probably best to listen to them.
@Deliathebean@AsterShock As much as I still watch the odd video from him, he was definitely much better before he made his new channel. The old one with the SAMP stuff was gold and I hate that he unlisted it all.
@PreacherCheeks@novamcneary97@bfdia6ispeak I was born in 2001 and watched plenty of VHS tapes. They were still around for a good while into the 2000s and even early 2010s.
@COWCATGames@Steam This is mostly a W but there is a big let down of a country limit. It's the sort of thing that seems minor to people not in that situation, but is a big issue for those in it. Other than that though, it is a nice improvement.
@michae1becker That'd be Boneworks for me. I liked Alex but the focus on keeping motion sickness low really let it down for me. I'd love a game like Alex that controlled like Boneworks. Was hoping Bonelab would deliver that but nope, sadly.
@OWAnonymous_ Honestly wouldn't be a big problem if there was functional matchmaking that put you in a lobby of people around your skill level. I get put up against plats/diamonds with silvers on my team. Only play QP because I hate the idea of sweating in competetive, prefer it more casual.
