@EdinburghAcad has today hosted what is believed to be its first #MiniTrial, using case papers available from the MiniTrial website. Michael Upton, Advocate, of the MiniTrials Steering Group, briefed the pupils and presided at the trial.
Third Year pupils staged a mock drugs trial, securing a conviction of the ‘accused’ pupil who, despite a plea of Not Guilty, at the end of the proceedings confessed to the jury’s verdict being correct.
