For months, communities in South Kivu have faced systematic drone and artillery strikes, mass displacement, and deliberate obstruction of humanitarian aid by the Kinshasa coalition forces. The international community's continued silence in the face of documented atrocities raises serious concerns.
Peaceful protests in Australia to denounce the ongoing continuous violent attacks committed by the Kinshasa coalition forces (FARDC, Wazalendo militia, Burundian troops and FDLR genocidaires) against the Congolese Tutsi, including Banyamulenge, communities in eastern DRC.
The Kinshasa coalition forces continue to drop drone bombardments targeting civilian areas, resulting in casualties, injury, destruction to property and livelihoods, and mass displacement.
The peaceful protests happening in Australia follow similar demonstrations held in Kenya, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Belgium.
Absolute truth, top notch analysis. Thank you @jbserugo for elevating the discussion. Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.
Brothers let’s not get distracted, we have an entire community to save. Keep the momentum, our noble goal is within reach.

First, the hypocrisy of the international community will never resolve the ongoing conflicts in the DRC. @ottoplatus you clearly stated that “clashes are between AFC-M23, supported by the RDF, and FARDC, supported by the #Wazalendo and other allies.” My question is simple: which “other allied militias” are you referring to? This kind of vague language only obscures reality.
You should be explicit and acknowledge that FARDC is supported by the Wazalendo and the #FDLR, rather than deliberately maintaining ambiguity.
Secondly, regarding the withdrawal of AFC-M23, your statement again lacks clarity and balance. You must clearly acknowledge that the Banyamulenge community is the primary group affected both before AFC’s presence in #Uvira and after its withdrawal on 17th January facing blockades and continuous bombing in Minembwe by FARDC and all allied forces, including the Burundian government. Ignoring this reality while highlighting only selective aspects of the situation is not just misleading—it is irresponsible.
Clarity, accuracy, and honesty in your statements are essential. Selective narratives that omit key facts only deepen mistrust and fuel tensions. I repeat: this approach will not resolve anything; it will only further inflame an already volatile situation.@antonioguterres@SecRubio@US_SrAdvisorAF@CNangaa@Fkaniki@bbisimwa@PaulKagame@onduhungirehe

#Minembwe#South_Kivu, #DRC.
Wednesday 25, 2026.
We are deeply alarmed by and condemn the ongoing attacks on Banyamulenge in Minembwe by the Kinshasa regime:
⏺️Civilians, homes, churches, livestock, and essential resources are being deliberately targeted, in blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
⏺️Drone strikes and shellings on civilians as well as the humanitarian blockade imposed by the FARDC coalition and Burundian forces have created a severe humanitarian crisis, threatening lives, livelihoods, and regional stability.
⏺️Urgent call on the international community to urgently intervene and ensure that accountability is demanded from those responsible for crimes.
⏺️#Burundi MUST withdraw its forces from Eastern DRC.
Silence and inaction only emboldens perpetrators and worsens civilian suffering.
