@nikozoi1@Sonikko06 It doesn't seem this won't do anything that emulation can't do already so actually it's useless as shit I don't even care about the AI this is just bad
@querccias@RyanIsDoStuff Some fan stuff really makes it seem like many want every secret boss to be on the levels of Omega Flowey visually and mechanically. Jevil and Spamton are genuinely not like that, hell Jevil is simpler than Pink and Gerson, these expectations purely come from fan content.
@querccias@RyanIsDoStuff I think ultimately a flaw which is why I pointed it out with fan stuff is how over the top it usually is. Toby Fox does not seem to go too crazy with most of the bosses his team designs. I know by the end of the game this might change but they are usually pretty simple visually.
@querccias@RyanIsDoStuff I don't have anything against it either, some of the fan stuff for Chapter 5 before its release I really liked. However it disappoints me always that some people end up comparing the final thing to random fan ideas that wouldn't have made the narrative better
@querccias@RyanIsDoStuff The worst flaw of Deltarune fans is creating and theorizing their own stuff and then brainwashing themselves into thinking that's how the game will truly go. It's a really poor way to interact with the medium if your standards are only what you wish would happen
@querccias@RyanIsDoStuff Same I really don't get what's so good about this fanmade boss. A lot of fanmade stuff really seems just like a showcase of "look how better I can make things look" but outside of that they fail to provide anything but to be a "what if" and not something fitting storywise
@mm3291645218568@ThayneCooney It's not going to be a "we are going to fucking kill you moment", it's going to be an "when all hope is lost for the tale" moment
@electircjelten@467Doggo I know I'm just saying shit lol, but it's still funny to think about the contrast between the idea of a white mantle and a dark mantle. Whoever it is I think it must mean something
@ThayneCooney Tbh I just think it's a digital copy of Seam that happens to be aware of any other possible uses of the Shadow/Pure Crystal. In the end, the Shadow Mantle isn't truly needed, you got it by going your way to be violent, even when you meant to not be so outside the game.
