The journey begins! 32 hours is nothing to support the global nursing voice. A privilege it is to be an invited ally. Looking forward to the learning this adventure has in store as I know it will be unforgettable. #globalhealthishumanhealth#neonatalnursing#PhD
Amy Watson, a clinical educator in our emergency department, talks about the creation of the ComfortPACT to support improved pain and comfort management for children at the 'What Changed My Practice' session at #ChildHealthCan2023
"If I could give you one thought, it would be to lift someone up. Lift a stranger up - lift her up. I would ask you, mother and father, brother and sister, lovers, mother and daughter, father and son, lift someone. The very idea of lifting someone up will lift you, as well."
"Dying under bombs in Gaza cannot be the only option left to people.
Hospitals are overwhelmed. There are no more painkillers.
Our staff tell us about wounded people screaming in pain, and people who can't get to the hospital."
- Claire Magone, General Director MSF France
There are SO many things happening in the world right now. Itโs overwhelming. But we have to start someone. Every little piece will make a difference #globalhealth#ClimateCrisis#healthinequity

My absolute favourite session of #ICN2023 was the genuine nature in collectively brainstorming solutions to nursing retention. There may be different challenges in each country but in the end, itโs all the same. The Jamaican nurses represent humbleness, honesty, and solidarity.
Nowโ this pictureโ- ๐ฎโ๐จso much beauty, so much power, so much strength! We have #Jamaican nurses in the house and other nurses across the diaspora breathing LIFE into @ICNurses#ICN#ICN2023#ICNCongress@TheCBNA
