I don't know about that @Cloudflare (I love the company btw) but the D1 billing is INSANE when using Agents
I got hit with $700+ bill because the agent did few count(*) queries on a big table to get the number of records.
Now support won't credit that account and I got charged.
I saw @levelsio go through the same but he got credited. I think everyone should until this gets stable to be used with AI Agents.
@CloudflareDev - could you help here?
12 years ago today — July 1, 2014 — I came to America with an intention to build a life here.
Not just to visit. Not just to try.
To build!
I did not know exactly what the path would look like. I only knew I had to keep moving.
The first years were hard. Lots of learning, adjusting, working late, proving myself, understanding this new country, a new professional culture, and a new version of myself.
My first chapter in the U.S. started writing code, teaching developers, building web and mobile applications, and slowly finding my place.
Then came Oracle.
Then GE.
Then F5.
Then Fastly.
Then RealPage, Inc.
And many side ventures...
Along the way, the work changed — from code, to systems, to platforms, to teams, to AI.
But the pattern stayed the same:
Build.
Learn.
Take responsibility.
Help people.
Make things work.
America gave me opportunity, but it did not make the journey easy.
And I am grateful for both parts.
The opportunity gave me room to grow. The difficulty gave me discipline.
In these 12 years, I became a husband, a father, a better engineer, a leader, a founder, a mentor, and now someone hoping to shape AI to be useful to all of us.
I have worked with incredible people. I have made mistakes. I have grown through pressure. And I have learned that belonging is not something you wait for someone to give you.
You build it!
Today, I am grateful — for my family, my mentors, my teammates, my friends, and every person who opened a door, challenged me, trusted me, or simply encouraged me when the next step was not obvious.
🇺🇸12 years in America🇺🇸 - the BEST country on earth!
The next chapter is still being written.
I still feel like I’m just getting started.
And America feels like a startup!
- Anthropic Claude Fable 5 is restricted;
- OpenAI ChatGPT and Codex became really slow;
- Google Gemini does not always hit the mark;
and SpaceXAI with Grok is just getting started $SPCX
