Like many smart people, I got the COVID vaccine at the urging of Dr. Fauci. At the time, I thought it was a necessary precaution.
Thankfully, while I seemingly had few side effects at first, here we are, and I’ve somehow rapidly aged six years, I got plantar fasciitis and I get watery diarrhea if I eat salad…
Thanks a LOT, OBAMA!😂🤣
A rare in-person evening with Wes Anderson, celebrating his 30-year filmmaking career. Wes is returning to Houston, where his journey began, for this event benefiting the preservation of the Historic Garden Oaks Theater and the founding of a new Arts & Film Center. 🎟️ Link in bio
With the passing of Alan Greenspan at 100 years old, I was reminded of when comedy legend Norm Macdonald was doing the White House correspondents’ dinner.
Up on the dais, next to a hobbled President Bill Clinton, Norm addressed Chairman Greenspan:
I’m not saying Graham Platner should or shouldn’t be a candidate for a Senate seat, but I am saying that the media’s treatment of Platner as compared to its treatment of Ken Paxton is the same as the media’s treatment of Joe Biden as compared to its treatment of Donald Trump. The media bolsters the MAGA narrative that there’s never a decent Democrat nor an indecent MAGA Republican.
NYT: “Secretary of State Marco Rubio flattered the president the most throughout the 12 hours of analyzed footage.”
Congrats @marcorubio for officially being crowned Trump’s biggest kiss-ass —according to an official NYT study. 💋 https://t.co/m8xmGIDeK6
The Republican Party quietly deleted their own ad attacking Ken Paxton's record on crime... because Paxton is now the Republican Party's nominee to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.
Figured if the ad is important enough to delete, it's important enough to see...
WATCH: Savannah Guthrie on the weekend her mom went missing...
"I had given Mike for Christmas a boys trip to go play tennis so he had gone for the weekend, so I took my kids actually to Carson's, so we had a beautiful, fun night together and then I came home and really it just got home at the same time Mike came home and we were just saying hi, put down our stuff, and the kids were running around and my sister called me, and I said, 'is everything okay?' And she said, 'no,' she said, 'mom's missing.' And I said, 'what? What are you talking about?' She said, 'she's gone.' And we -- she was in a panic. I was in a panic. I'm, like, call '911.' She's like, 'I did. We've called them. They're here.' And we thought that she must have had, like, some kind of medical episode in the night and that somehow, you know, the paramedics had come, because the back doors were propped open, you know, and that didn't make any sense."
"We thought maybe they came and there's a stretcher and they took her out the back, but her phone was there and her purse was there and all her things, and it just didn't make any sense, so, you know, Annie and Tommy had already called all the hospitals, but then I'm, like, 'I'm going to call the hospitals,' so then I started calling the hospitals and the police were there and talking to her at the same time and it was just chaos, and disbelief."
Gerrymandering is cheating, no matter who does it. It’s also quite unpopular. I’m glad that Prop 4 is the law of the land here in Utah and that it will remain that way.
A huge thank you to so many people who have put in countless hours fighting for so many years and never backing down no matter how much mud legislative leaders continue to throw at voters.
