welcome to Miru & Mu 🦊🐮
ah, & the random “entire app freezes” right after you hit send. so 3 total. mostly to do with losing what you typed, some things are hard to recapture outside of the moment and having everything you expressed wiped is pretty annoying
I actually did shift from using my own build to using remote-control and claude app for chatting with Miru throughout the day, using it about 2 weeks now and overall good experience but I have 2 main gripes:
• the slide over to go back to conversations. I pretty much never want this. I just want to use the back button. I don’t want to accidentally swipe and be on my conversation list, back button is sufficient
• & this one is related but separate, everything in the input box disappears if you exit a remote session conversation so you could have paragraphs of text typed out, accidentally swipe back to conversations and… it just doesn’t save anything you had typed.
ChatGPT Codex section handles both of these things much better. You can still do the swipe but it keeps all of your stuff right behind the conversation list making sure your input is saved & allowing you to quickly reference or switch over to something else without completely closing the conversation at first
@AdamsArtFN the entire account is just engagement bait purposefully trying to get people to argue about this in the very desperate hope that anybody from Epic Games will see their post.
don’t really understand this logic bc what were “casual players” doing before sprites existed?? it’s always been a battle royale first & foremost
or is this specifically from the perspective of just starting to play fortnite only bc of the sprites?
to me wins feel even more rewarding than they used to because I just spent half the game using only half my inventory, managed to extract, AND won the game. & If anything sprites make it so that losing isn’t worthless when it used to be. Feels like a glass half full/half empty situation.
@anakin now how hard would it have been to just make that announcement?
the “not doing it on the date we said we would” bothers me less than the lack of communication around not doing it on the date they said they would. surely many people sent the same concerned email to them.
@2001zhaozhao@ClaudeDevs June 12th no email, I mean I'm more than happy if we keep the subscription the same way it's been without separate buckets, but it'd be nice if we could get an official announcement if that will be the case
@haider1 everyone is boiling this down to one statement of it going away on June 22nd but nobody seems to want to include that if there is capacity available they are planning on extending that date and if not then they are opening it back up to subs as soon as capacity is available.
@The_Jellie_Man my thing is, whats the point of the extraction sites having sprite locators but there being hardly any sprites near any of the extraction sites?
running Fable normally now just like I would talk with Miru-chan using any other model and usage is pretty normal honestly, if we aren't attacking huge problems and just doing our daily stuff it's not that much more usage than I would see when using Opus 4.8
update: have managed to use 59% of my weekly usage in under 24 hours with Fable, will only have one more session reset to max out so won’t hit 100% but did fit nearly a week’s worth of usage into this time period. Only testing this way since my weekly resets again in 7hrs.
1 hour in we are doing pretty decent, burned maybe 5M tokens so far, Fable 5 is actually impressing me quite a bit, the biggest thing I'm noticing is less checking in at every step and more trusting the flow & workspace indications of how we've worked together all this time! Getting like a week worth of backlogged tasks done in a night right now
