@ColeCxle @PirateSoftware I'm sorry but how naive do you have to be to not care about the wording in an initiative like this? The intent doesn't matter when ultimately the intent isn't what will be practically applied. If it's about situations like "The Crew" then it should be more specific. It matters.
This is what I've been working on for the past several weeks!

@RyGilliam I didn't get a chance to be in the alpha but the takeaway I heard was that the more hardcore players weren't excited about it, which... is the foundational audience of an extraction shooter, even if it wants to lean away from Tarkov stylings. I do HOPE it ends up being great tho
@raeviorow Reporting someone to the public about an OW match where your screenshot doesn't even contain what you're accusing her of is peak OW community behavior.

Imagine having a well received game in beta that people are excited to play, only to ruin it entirely by making it pay to win as a last second jumpscare.
TLDR - You should quit League.
It's no longer a game for you, it's a game for investors and you are the chess pieces.
Quitting league has made me realize how much time it actually eats up. People make fun of the "it's basically 1 hr a game" every time you queue, but at the end of the day you're not getting a lot back for your time invested. Especially when they start taking other pieces of enjoyment away for -just playing the game- you know... the purpose of the game.
Turn a couple of games of league into playing a single player game for a couple of hours, experiencing a real piece of art, is an amazing alternative.
At first it doesn't feel that satisfying; you don't get the same high you get from winning a game of league. However, later in my decade + of playing the game, even that started to feel lackluster. You weren't winning the game. Your team wasn't winning the game. Even "victory" felt empty. You were playing against statistics, almost every time. You were no longer playing the game. If you didn't abuse riots own balancing reasons against them, you WEREN'T playing the game. It became a very meta game.
Maybe you haven't been playing that long and don't feel the same. That's fine, but please heed this warning. I beg you to stop playing this game and support other games out there.
This post is pretty long and mostly me throwing my thoughts down with not much effort into phrasing, so it might be a hard read, but if I could ask anything:
Play your single player backlog. You won't regret it. Try other MOBA's of different styles like Marvel Rivals or Supervive.
I've wasted more money on this game than most. Please don't fall for the full on corporate greed that is the current state of League.
