Long covid has ruined my life. I was 21 when i got ill,now i'm 23. I was a sport science major and i loved powerlifting and bodybuilding(still do). I had a mild initial case. Then i kept getting worse. I am afraid i will never live again and i'm losing my youth day by day./
We may want to be done with COVID, but forcing our way through it is myopic & frankly ridiculous. People are still getting sick, going to hospitals, & dying. We need primary prevention, like masks +vaccines. Personally, I’ll continue to wear a mask on airplanes & pubtranspo (6/6)
@ladydydy@hoopersnook It makes me so sad that people don't care about other people anymore. Driving is not always an option (sure, I'll drive to London from Boston?) I am 38, used to run 3 miles a day and now I can't walk down the street without stopping to rest. I would never wish this on anyone.
@BostonGlobe I feel like the people commenting just read the headline and not the article... where the writer makes it clear that even the worst concerts are magical bc they are messy and unpredictable and all the things we miss about human contact and group experiences. 🤷🏻♀️
I can't wait for the debate tonight when Donald Trump spends two hours hammering Joe Biden for things that Trump himself caused while the moderator nods "neutrally."
*psst* If you think your black friends don't have an opinion on want's going on this weekend, its probably because they don't want to spend half the conversation assuring you you're not racist
@realDonaldTrump This isn't about viewpoints. Do you think doctors and nurses wear masks because they are controlled? How about people doing building demolition or using chemicals? Masks are safety equipment.
@MBTA I always board the same place and get off the same stop. You’ve asked this before. The number one is not a healthy place to ride at 7a inbound or 7p our bound.
@MBTA The number one heading towards Dudley. Got on at 7:10a at Hancock St in Cambridge and it was 4 of us but by the end there were so many people everyone was only a foot apart. It goes by BMC and BHCHP so many riders are healthcare workers
There are WAY too many people on this bus standing and siting WAY too close.
I’m a nurse with no car.
Increase your bus services @MBTA - our actual lives depend on it. #SocialDistancing#COVID19
