@mparts_ We're doing this with our HQ in Berlin & building out a US office. Pros: Huge talent pool, more diverse workforce, attractive option for employees. Cons: We're still improving our internal comms to make sure the team stays aligned plus virtual celebrations just aren't the same!
Changes to the traditional conference format have for the most part been incremental. There is room for bolder changes that open the doors to more participants and make the format of scientific meetings more dynamic.
