I think it's pretty clear I support Governor DeSantis for president. But I've never explained why. His story. Middle class background. College athlete. Harvard and Yale. We will skip the lawyer part. I forgive him. Served in the Navy. (as an old Marine let me interject with calling it an expensive taxi service for Marines) A conservative congressman. Then governor of Florida. His handling of covid. I live in Tennessee and we dropped the covid restrictions early as well. But seeing the Gov stand up to the federal government. Stand up to the ridiculous mandates and bogus science was inspiring and important. To come out publicly and acknowledge his mistakes with covid. With tears in his eyes. That's what a real leader does. Then to govern Florida since with a steady conservative hand. To actually pass the strongest conservative agenda in the nation while everyone attacked him. From the left and the right. To see the love he has for his family. The way he honors and cherishes them. That is a father and husband. The man has earned my admiration, respect and loyalty. He truly cares about conservative values. Not just to get elected. Last of all he is a winner. Our side needs a win now badly. We cannot afford four more years. We can't risk losing the Supreme Court. We have to win in 24 and Governor DeSantis is the candidate that can win. Plus...he gets shit done.
