In Science, children have been classifying different plants into flowering or non-flowering. We then went outside to look at the plants on our school grounds to observe their features and explain which group they’d belong to. @HollinPrimary

This morning in English, Year 4 have been learning all about collective nouns. They became word detectives and had to hunt around the classroom for the correct collective noun for that sentence. @HollinPrimary

Today in Science, children were classifying animals as mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish or birds. They used their knowledge of animal features to explain their choices and shared some fantastic scientific discussions. 👏🐄🦧🐳🐍 @HollinPrimary
