That's why unions - and the power of collective bargaining - is so important: because public companies often won't pay their workforce any more than they're forced to.

Today (and yesterday) wasn't quite as bad as Prop 8, but still feeling the gut punch.
@NomeDaBarbarian I no longer get to work remotely, but the comfortable "chair/desk" combo (whatever that means to you was crucial. Also if you are going to have a lot of camera on meetings, a ring light helps.

@rahaeli@YellowNorco Yep. I couldn't stick with Ritalin because of this. I asked my psych if I should take it before bed as a sleep aid, and she said "that's not a typical reaction, stimulants shouldn't be making you groggy". Huh, it's almost like something is off about how my brain works. Who knew?
