After last night’s rain, I was driving out of Legon campus wondering how I was going to get through Okponglo flood with a low height car.
To my surprise, the place didn’t look like it rained. Smooth drive. Then it occurred to me the bus stop boys recently worked there.
But come to think of it, there are municipal engineers and others employed by the local assembly office there drawing salaries for years while the place kept on flooding with every drop of rain.
And this is the situation with many lingering problems in the country. People get paid for not solving the very problems they’re paid to solve.
The decisions we make don’t just affect our lives; they affect generations to come. The way you live can make it easier for your children and grandchildren. You can be a stepping stone for them to do greater things.
