@PBLWorks I was inspired by @chrisemdin’s keynote! “Poor pedagogy is a knee on the neck of young people” and “If your project ain’t changing the world, it ain’t doing nothing” are two of many ideas he shared that have really stuck with me today. So powerful. #PBL#PBLWorld#PBLWorld20
Having high expectations for ALL students & pushing them every day to do their best, shows them you believe they are capable of success and mastery. We must push them & hold them accountable. We must not let them give up on themselves & must be there to support when they need us.
I want to teach my Ss English Language Arts, but I hope they also learn that they matter, they can accomplish great things if they put in the effort, they can challenge themselves to always be better, and mostly I hope they learn to love and respect themselves and others. #Growth

A2. I would like to incorporate lessons on digital citizenship if distance learning continues. I think it's important that students take responsibility and ownership over their online engagement. What better time than when they're predominantly online?

A4. The importance of connecting with our students. Not being able to connect with several of my kids during this time has undoubtedly changed my approach to and reaffirmed my belief in building relationships first.
