- Our popular characters, including Tiny, Diddy and Bee of course!
Have just finished updating the overview for a weekly picturebook assembly which focuses on equality, diversity and inclusion. It's very much a work in progress but please feel free to use and adapt. The link is on my Padlet: https://t.co/JBuWKFD2sh
@PrimaryHT_Mum We had loads left when we moved over to RWI we kept putting them out for parents to take home (give a donation) they soon all went apart from the ones that were published in the 80’s 🤣🤣
🏠 Our interactive Reading House is designed to clarify what evidence tells us about effective literacy teaching, by breaking down the key components of learning to read and showing how these build on each other.

Each term we have five stories which we read over and over and then put into provision! Story bags and story props for our first term! 💕#readingrocks#eyfs
Supporting children’s oral language in the early years is vital.
It’s especially important that we support *all* children, especially those at risk of falling behind.
How can we do this? A thread 🧵
Our world is literally burning 💔 and teachers are still laminating for displays, buying cheap plastic off Temu, being generally wasteful for the sake of aesthetic. I always say to chn that they CAN make a difference. That instead of people thinking that they can’t change…
Publishing a very emotional Summer Project for us this year titled “There’s only one you”. We invited a very special ex pupil back into school to teach us how to view our world. In her own words : “I see too, just a bit different to you” #pshe#eyfs#rnib@RNIB
Just a friendly reminder as we near the end of term....we are all only human.
Please don't forget that.
Show kindness & compassion, always.

@NEUnion@GillianKeegan I support teachers striking - however this is induction week. It will again give headteachers another headache to try and sort as well as supporting children, parents and teachers. Made even trickier when you're an infant school and you can't predict what feeder schools are doing
