Students of all ages benefit from unstructured play: exploring, creating, and solving problems on their own, without the constant support of grown-ups. See how @DycePrimary embraces free play as part of its weekly schedule. #MakingLearningMorePlayful with @LEGOfoundation
We took division outside today, using some stones and chalk. The class practised using the array strategy to solve some division problems. I can see the 10kg bag of stones I've bought being useful for outdoor learning across the curricular areas!
Fractions Activity Stations were well enjoyed on Friday. Fractions Pictionary, Roll and Draw, and finding a fraction of a number all covered. #ActiveMaths#playistheway
